Senior Parts Technician with aspirations of a supervisory/leadership opportunity.


What is the Job?


The Parts Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently sourcing and selling parts to customers either over the phone, in person or online.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quote and sell heavy truck, bus and trailer parts (all makes included) to our valued customers
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers while making a sale, quoting, taking orders and/or checking availability
  • Address customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Meet or exceed monthly parts sales expectations
  • Perform as a leader and mentor to junior parts staff
  • Assist other areas of the parts department as needed or assigned
  • Perform inventory counts annually or as required.
  • Participate in training; including obtaining forklift certification
  • Perform the role safely in a professional manner that aligns with the Company's' values and ideals

What You Need:


  • Minimum 35 years' experience selling all makes or heavy truck parts
  • Aspirations of a supervisory/leadership opportunity
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Organized and sales driven
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$31.00-$36.00 per hour
