Project Planning Leader, Clinical Programs, as part of the

In this role, you will:


  • Support daytoday routine data extractions for physician led QI projects & performs QI data analysis on Physician Led QI Project from a data lens
  • Provides coaching on QI basic tools and Shewhart chart analysis
  • Provides Quality Improvement Data project management within a strategic change context.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of QI Data plans as a strategic resource to ensure that an efficient structure, design and implementation of the change are achieved.
  • Report to steering committees all QI related risks and issues and implement mitigation and resolution strategies.

Your qualifications include:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 9 years' experience in data extraction for physician led QI led projects from any health authority, preferably Fraser Health data sources/systems & manipulation, analysis & coaching for QI data
  • Familiar with Fraser Health Data processes / Health Data Systems and Patient Journey
  • Proficient in Excel, Statistical Process Control Software (eg. SQCpack, QIMacro, etc), SQL
  • Completion or working towards a QI certification or designation such as, IHI Improvement Advisor or relevant QI qualification

Requirements:


  • Identifies QI data projects' needs (performance report)
  • Extracts data from multisource data platforms (MEDITECH, LAB, PARIS, PROFILE, Prenatal Database, etc)
  • Familiar with front end and back end of the above list data platform is a must
  • Supports physicians through providing guidance and support of data access, extraction, analysis & visualization
  • Provides recommendations to physicians, project leads, consultants and senior management on performance and business reports needs and statistical methodologies
  • Verifies the accuracy, consistency and integrity of the multisource data and information and consults with the PQI team to validate contents of reports
  • Advanced training in improvement science methods
  • Training in leadership, change management, systems thinking is an asset
