We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry.

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Ensure that food is stored properly and meets food safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Skills:


  • 2+ Year cooking experience
  • Food handling
  • Can work in a fast past environment
  • Understands food safety
  • Can work in a team environment
  • Knows basic knowledge of POS systems
  • Is able to work multiple stations on line

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
