Medical Imaging is an integrated subspecialty based academic department across London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital and University Hospital committed to providing quality-driven patient care.
Our multidisciplinary team integrated by 352 staff, 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians serve clients in Southwestern Ontario, across Canada and internationally with highly specialized imaging in neurology stroke, pediatrics, high risk obstetrical, orthopedic and cardiac imaging.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Coordinator, the Diagnostic Sonographer is required to perform ultrasound technical procedures ensuring patient care and comfort are maintained at all times.
Rate of Pay:
$33.32 per hour - $46.02 per hour
Qualifications:
- Currently registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Radiation Sciences or completion of a three (3) year diploma in health related field plus one (1) year Ultrasound Diploma preferred
- CRGS credentials preferred
- ARDMS certification optional (vascular certification an asset)
- Demonstrated competency in all aspects of general sonography (Abdomen, pelvis, vascular, obstetrics, gynaecology)
- Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated effective organizational skills involving time management and prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to manage change in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and selfdirected learning
- Demonstrated commitment to the employee performance development competencies
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
