The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Corporate Accounts Payable Position, based out of our Technical Centre location


Responsibilities would include:

  • Prepare all vendor invoices for payment on a daily basis. Match each invoice to a packing slip and a purchase order/requisition including matching to receiving in our ERP system
  • Prepare raw material invoices by attaching the packing slip and ensuring its been entered in the ERP system. Monitor purchase price variance account for any unusual variances and follow up to resolve. Analyze issues to determine root cause and suggest solutions for problems encountered
  • Report unusual variances to CFO or designate
  • Ensure correct backup is attached to cheque. Distribute to CFO
  • Maintain vendor addresses
  • Preferably has an Accounting Diploma or Degree
  • Has three or more years of Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Will have expert excel skills and be skilled in standard office software
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
