In this Contract position, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills & experience, and understanding of large-scale Sales Projects, as they pertain to our National or 'Key Account' Channel in the Gift/Home Décor Industry.


As a Administrative Analyst, you will be responsible for performing Sourcing, Sales support and Analysis functions for Giftware and Home Décor products, across several different categories.

You will be a pro-active problem solver and interact closely with internal partners in sales, merchandising, logistics and product compliance.

You will also be responsible for managing large volumes of information across Cost Sheets, Spec Sheets, Samples, and provide strong analytical support to the Key Account Senior Sales Team.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:


  • Perform daily/routine tasks to support the Key Account Team with strategic initiatives and special projects sourced and developed for Key Account Customers.
  • Follow up on sourcing, costing, samples, customer spread sheets, uploading portals and organization of projects for various key accounts.
  • Update information on internal line lists for key account sales team and procurement as required.
  • Request quote sheets from vendors and ensures that they are completed and that the information is accurate. Review to ensure accuracy and compliance for each customers' standards of packaging, labelling and classification to ensure accurate costs and information is passed to procurement to set up in the system.
  • Coordinate approval of samples/production and checking/submitting orders to relevant internal teams.
  • Prepare periodic and adhoc reports, summaries and analysis as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:


  • Minimum 35 years of experience in wholesale/retail; preferably in the Home Décor or Gift industry.
  • Experience dealing with Overseas Vendors.
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • Postsecondary education related to Business is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Tech Savvy; strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other related systems. Comfortable with learning systems and generating operations reports, and analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills, and detail oriented; high accuracy reviewing documents (technical specifications numeric, writing, data, etc.)
  • Effective time Management and multitasking skills.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
From $62,000.00 per year
