Technical Manager:

As a technical expert, ensure that unit action plans and manufacturing objectives are in line with Group strategy;
In collaboration with the plants, develop an asset investment strategy and ensure its deployment;
Develop and support the implementation of standardized operational best practices, including the management of performance indicators;
Supervise major unit trials and support the startup of new equipment and products;
Monitor manufacturing best practices and new techniques, validate their feasibility and share them within the organization;
Recommend the selection/modification of manufacturing equipment and optimize its performance;
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the unit;
Develop good relationships with business partners;
Support the development of innovation and new products to create added value for customers.

You too can showcase your strengths:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or other relevant training;
At least 10 years' experience in the manufacturing field;
Knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes is a strong asset;
Knowledge of the market (business opportunities, sales, competition) and of business and manufacturing processes;
Basic knowledge of costing;
Excellent consultancy skills and the ability to influence and make an impact;
Innovative ideas and good communication skills;
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills;
Bilingualism (working with Englishspeaking colleagues).
