    Role DescriptionReporting to the Director of Construction, this full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Project Manager located in Ottawa, ON.

    As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks related to the installation of mechanical systems on assigned projects.

    The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the mechanical construction industry, have excellent communication, organizational skills and be quick to learn and eager to grow within the organization.

    Responsibilitiesset up all new projects when assigned within the Procore project management system;creating, managing, and updating the project budget;creating, managing, and updating the required project construction schedules;Timely and accurate preparation of all project invoices and progress billing applications in accordance with the Alliance accounting procedures;complete project procurement requirements;manage all project quality control / assurance requirementsProvide monthly work in progress (WIP) reportsSchedule and manage labour with the general foreman and foreman for assigned projects within the budgetmanage shop drawing submittals and reviews;communicate all required project related correspondence with vendors, suppliers and field supervision and labour resources;providing detailed pricing of CCNs as per project requirements using our estimating software;Manage and scheduling sub-trades


    QualificationsTechnical knowledge and understanding of mechanical systemsPrevious experience in MEP project managementProven track record in procurement and budgeting for mechanical projectsBackground in Mechanical Engineering or trade experience in plumbing or sheet metalExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrentlyPMP certification is a plus.

    Proficiency in Microsoft office applicationsWorking knowledge of Procore is an assetExperience in the residential high sector is preferredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or Equivalent experienceAbility to work in a team environment and work efficiently under little supervision
