Description

The Crupi Group of Companies is a family-run business that has serviced Toronto and surrounding areas since 1951 in the road construction, aggregate material and maintenance industries.

The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment, maintenance tasks, and utilizing the ticket system at our asphalt plant facilities.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (i.e. loaders) at Crupi's asphalt plants.
Utilize the ticket system.
Answer phones and interact with customers.
Physical duties as required (i.e. shoveling).

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic computer skills are required.
Comfortable working outdoors.
Ability to work well in a team.
Ability to work under pressure.

Must be available to work flexible shifts. Evenings and nights are required at various times throughout the season.
Typical months of operation are February to December.
Snow removal positions are offered in the winter, if interested.

Salary:
$19.00-$27.35 per hour
