INTRO

Reporting to the Vice-President Business Management & CFO, the Deputy VP BM manages the day-to-day delivery by the BM organization including its services, projects, activities and staff in a safe manner.

The incumbent also provides oversight and guidance on BM's interactions with its various internal and external stakeholders and ensures business management agenda is advanced.

Further, the incumbent is responsible for promoting BM capabilities and expertise and to enhance BM value to the CNL's shareholder and stakeholders.

When the V.P. BM & CFO is unavailable, the Deputy VP BM will represent the V.P. BM & CFO in designated meetings and decision making.


DUTIES

  • Lead the budgeting and planning for all Service Delivery and full range of initiatives.
  • In conjunction with the VP BM & CFO, provide senior business management advice to CNL.
  • Fostering teamwork and integration among the BM departments within CNL in support of corporate goals and achieving technical excellence.
  • Managing various interfaces between BM and other CNL departments or groups.
  • Develop and implement BM service delivery priorities, strategies and programs in short, medium and longterm timeframes to meet the diverse needs of CNL.
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery processes and outcomes to ensure service delivery is efficient and cost effective and to action necessary improvements as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or international equivalent).
Preferably MBA and/or C.P.A (or international equivalent).

Experience

  • The position requires a person with a broad Business Management background, acquired through formal education and demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience in Corporate Services preferably in large, crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience in planning, at the strategic, project and operational level, budgeting, execution and reporting of BM activities
  • Proven management and leadership skills and ability to operate in a multidiscipline functional style organization and businesslike manner, particularly to motivate and manage staff and managers.
  • Experience in Corporate Services preferably in large, crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support interactions with staff, managers, executive, customers and external organizations.
  • Experience in planning, at the strategic, project and operational level, budgeting, execution and reporting of BM activities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess good time management and work scheduling skills to meet the complex demands of the position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with all parts of the organization to ensure key interface responsibilities are met.
