Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the shoring and foundation department.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Direct Superintendents and Foreman on daily job activities.
  • Manage look ahead schedules for manpower and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Equipment Maintenance and Engineering groups.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
  • Manage, hire and mentor a team of shoring and foundation professionals.
  • Lead safety culture to ensure Safety remains a Core Value for the group.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members.
  • Work closely with the estimation team to ensure that all projects are accurately estimated, and alternate designs are properly evaluated.
  • Ensure that the department is meeting its financial targets.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Shoring and Foundation Operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$150,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
