  • Manage a team of employees by providing leadership and staff development and ensuring that proper training is received in the administration and management of assigned portfolios
  • Provide leadership in the development, enhancement, and/or implementation of policies and procedures that improve operations for the client and company
  • Implement organizational strategy within areas of responsibility
  • Establish and maintain the operations for new business initiatives
  • Provide bottom line accountability for contracts' operational results including contract KPI components where applicable
  • Perform financial control activities including the development of annual operating budgets, monthly budget analysis, variances and reforecast allocations
  • Oversee building operations, repairs, tenant requests and the Preventive Maintenance Program for assigned building portfolios
  • What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management is desirable with direct management of maintenance, mechanical projects and subcontracted services
  • Holds an accredited Commercial Real Estate designation (RPA, CPM, FMA)
  • License to trade in Real Estate considered an asset
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff to accomplish objectives
  • Extensive knowledge of budgeting, administrative and accounting processes
  • Excellent customer care and client management skills
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
