    Healthcare Support Specialist


    About the Role:

    The Hospital Assistant plays a vital role in supporting patient care and transportation needs within our hospital. As part of our Patient Transportation Department, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently to various locations throughout the facility.


    Duties & Responsibilities:


    • Transporting patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated areas for tests, procedures, and other medical treatments.

    • Assisting with transferring patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs under clinical staff supervision.

    • Rapidly responding with specialized equipment during resuscitation or medical distress situations.

    • Picking up/delivering specimens, blood products, supplies, soiled instruments/equipment/miscellaneous items as per schedule or request.

    • Maintaining inventory of medical supplies ensuring adequate stock levels are met at all times.



      < li > Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required
      < li > 3 months - less than 6 months experience / practical training recommended .
