to ensure resident focused care is achieved maintaining accountability of nursing staff ensuring that resident focused care is appropriate implemented promoting departmental activities maintain high quality resident care Central responsibilities include mentoring staff ensure assessment nursing care planning implementation programs meet residents needs coordination ongoing education facility ability communicate effectively residents families staff others community acts professional role model all staff
