What you'll do:

The Deli Clerk is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service; slicing meats, working with hot foods and food preparation; merchandising and displaying product; maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

The Deli Clerk will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

You are looking for a career in a retail and:

Are committed to service excellence and food production quality
Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment
Are able to prepare product according to recipes, production standards and Food Safe requirements.
Are able to stand for extended periods of time
Are able to perform a variety of activities, which may include lifting up to30 lbs and repetitive motions.
Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

Good oral and written English communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships with a diverse group of individuals at all levels; a team player.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Able to stand for extensive periods of time, with moderate amount of walking.
Able to perform extensive repetitive motion (working with hands, repeated lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, etc.)
Available for evenings and Saturdays.
