This role will lead our procurement and supply chain team whose efforts keep pace with the demands of a changing supply chain and a growing company.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Analyze, manage and participate in the existing procurement processes looking for opportunities to enhance our processes and procedures.
  • Seek out and partner with reliable vendors and maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Negotiate price, contracts and process with our vendors.
  • Monitor the quality of purchased items and the efficiency of our supply chain practices.
  • Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation.
  • Responsible for inventory management and controls.
  • Manage and oversee the procurement team of three full time purchasers and a warehouse team of five.

This position requires:


  • Five (5) years supply chain experience, preferred.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Supply Chain Management or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of procurement processes and inventory with an interest and ability to roll up your sleeves.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing using an ERP/MRP system is an asset.
  • Above average communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid negotiation skills
