In partnership with the PI Segment Owners, the Business Insights Lead is responsible for providing high quality, actionable insights, and analytics to find opportunities that will enhance the performance of Personal Insurance and improve profit, while aligning with the overall business strategy.


To complete PI's business plan commitments, this role will collaborate with stakeholders across Aviva to review, design and develop insights and solutions to business problems within all distribution channels.


What You'll do- Work closely with PI colleagues, Finance, Reserving, Claims, Analytics, Distribution, and business teams to provide timely and accurate information, insights, and reporting to make better strategic decisions, built on the guiding principles of "One Version of the Truth" with high quality.- Collaborates with internal business partners to define and drive business intelligence and analytics, leading to insights which will drive performance improvement.- Obtains clear understanding of business needs and strategy with ability to communicate and complete requirements.- Sets data and reporting management design, monitoring, and governance.- Initiates and maintains roadmaps for data management and business intelligence strategy by keeping current with changes happening internally and externally.- Maintains breadth and depth of knowledge using enterprise and industry / market trends and regular benchmarking exercises.- Develop, lead, and handle various key projects and assignments as the need arises, including project plan development, case development, strategic oversight, and management- Drive business objectives to deliver Business Insights & Analytics Strategy, collaboratively working with Segment Leads, PI collaborators, and other teams to provide optimal Business Intelligence and analytical solutions.- Provide Insights and reporting recommendations to meet customer and business needs.- Uphold data governance and control.


What you'll Bring- University degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field- 3+ years industrial experience in BI Analytics or Reporting- Proven ability to embrace and lead change, be highly adaptable, flexible, decisive and display excellent judgment.- Has effectively worked within a matrix & sophisticated environment- Superior analytical skills with an unbridled desire to probe, question, validate and challenge to ensure accurate and relevant performance indicators are being reported and measured- Strong business knowledge and technical skills to advise and recommend optimal, relevant, and accurate information to the business for decision making purpose's- Leadership skills with ability to lead, motivate, challenge, and influence cross functional teams and deliver outstanding results- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels.- Strong customer focus and collaborator management skills.

- Able to foster change with the ability and appetite to drive optimization in processes and technology- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task concurrently in a fast-paced environment
