SUMMARY


Primary responsibilities will include leading client-facing integrated workplace strategy engagements that typically include some or all of the following aspects: information gathering and client engagement, workplace strategy development, space programming, change management strategy development, production of client deliverables, and coordination of information with our design colleagues through the schematic design phase.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead existing projects and work with colleagues on business development.
  • Bring experience in workplace strategy engagements and help add to our toolbox with their own expertise.
  • Shift gears as needed to support our growing practice, relying on and deploying past change management experience in the service of projects.
  • Ability to maintain and build client relationships and support the management of key client accounts (where appropriate) with a pipeline of work over time.
  • Ability to think strategically with an indepth understanding of client challenges and how workplace strategy and design can address them
  • Comfortable with data and research material ability to draw out the 'story' from data and present it in a clear and concise way
  • Strong graphic skills polished and professional output
  • Ability to manage multiple small and medium to large projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to convey complex ideas and messages in a simple and clear way
  • Ability to collaborate with internal team members and clients on projects and be able to draw out the best in people
  • Ability to write proposals, clear narrative, strong description of services and associated modeling of fees
  • Networking
- attends events, conference and reads industry-relevant publications and material to stay up to date with trends and challenges across sectors

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/Architecture or Organizational Development
  • 510 years of diverse corporate workplace experience, including experience in a leadership role
  • Experience with workplace strategy services including any or all of the following: workplace strategy development, space programming, space planning, real estate scenario planning, space standards, user research, site and lease evaluation, growth projections, test fit analysis, and industry benchmarking
  • Ability to synthesize and coalesce information from multiple inputs and sources into clear, cohesive workplace strategies and relevant space programs
  • Proven track record of innovative ideas: drawing insights from users and trends, creating frameworks, expressing compelling solutions and communicating to inform decision making
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and executives
  • Possess outstanding analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with good collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Work experience with networked teams across a broad geographic area
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success building, nurturing and fostering existing and new client relationships
  • Ability to read drawings, create and design using AutoCAD
  • 3D rendering and proficiency with Revit would be an asset
