Hiring Unit:
School of Communications Sciences and Disorders


Position Summary:
Conducting focused literature search artificial intelligence in health and motor speech research

Participating in the development of a research protocol, including selection of acoustic features, artificial intelligence models and statistical analyses.

Code writing and debugging

Performing acoustic analyses using Python libraries such as OpenSmile and Librosa

Develop and validate machine-learning algorithms to model acoustic features in speech signals.

Conducting statistical analyses using R and SPSS

Write research manuscripts for peer reviewed scientific journals or conferences.

Performing any other activity assigned by the research supervisor.


Qualifications:
Have a graduate degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline

Have experience with writing and debugging code

Have experience using Python or MatLab for acoustic analyses

Have experience running machine learning algorithms

Hourly Salary:
$31.20
