Position:

Temporary full time dock worker with potential for permanent Hire for our Windsor Area location.
8 hour shift - Steady Days. Hours are 10 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday

as per collective agreement

Description:

Apex Motor Express is looking for a Temporary to Permanent full time forklift operator/dock worker to join our Team in our Windsor location.

As a full time, forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe and proper handling of inbound and outbound freight across the dock.

Experience/Qualifications:

Forklift Operator: 1 year (required)

Forklift operator license an asset - in house training/certification provided

LTL shipping/dock/dispatch experience: 1 year (preferred) - will train

Ability to manually lift and carry freight up to 50lbs

Ability to work safely and with mínimal direction.

Familiar with use of Microsoft 365 (preferred)

Experience with AS400 (definite asset but will train)

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Strong Attention to detail
