The Front-End Intern at GenPark will contribute to the development of user-friendly and visually engaging web interfaces.
Key responsibilities include writing and optimizing code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborating with designers to implement UI/UX designs, and debugging front-end issues for a seamless user experience.
The intern will also assist in integrating APIs and ensuring mobile responsiveness. This is a hybrid internship role based in Toronto, ON, with the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.Qualifications
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
Experience with frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and design collaboration
Ability to debug and troubleshoot front-end issues
Familiarity with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program
Knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus
