Compensation:
$80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the _Director, Program Underwriting_, by supporting the _Director_ with the daily administration of Large Realty portfolios.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Day to day liaison with internal & external partners
- Review of Insurer contracts & preparation of renewals
- Assist with the research, analysis, and preparation of reports on trends, patterns and indicators on book performance
- Collaboration with colleagues over various areas such as claims, client facing documents and internal underwriting tools
- Facilitation of Insurer onboarding
- Property & Casualty wordings review, comparison, and analysis
- Maintaining consistent, organized, and detailed file management system within the BMS
Key skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated property and casualty experience with a strong focus on property
- Level II BC General Insurance license (CAIB or CIP an asset)
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Solution based, with superior negotiation and marketing abilities
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate in a precise manner
- Demonstrated track record of exceptional customer service and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Comfortable working in a deadlineoriented atmosphere
- A natural fact finder, with analytical and risk underwriting skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
