I'm a 35-year old woman with Lou Gehrig's disease looking for an energetic and fast-paced individual to help take care of my two daughters, 5 and 3, under my direction.

I can walk and talk, but I have very limited use of my hands and arms.

We are a neurodivergent family, so if you are as well this would be a great job for you

Duties:

Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and secure environment
Engage children in ageappropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and arts and crafts
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
Assist with toileting and bathing
Maintain a clean home
Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and any specific needs or preferences

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare or related field preferred
Knowledge of child development and ageappropriate activities
Ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, responsible, and punctual
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Please note that this is not a daycare position. The role of the babysitter/nanny is to provide individualized care for children in their own homes.

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 5-20 per week

Salary:
$18.00 per hour
