Position Summary:

The Motion Graphics Artist / Video Editor will be involved in the editing, design and animation of visually stimulating, yet informative

motion graphics and videos.

This is a part-time / freelance position which requires strong organizational, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work

Key Responsibilities:

Edit mix of liveaction footage, 2D animated graphics, and stock footage using Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects
Animate 2D vector graphics using Adobe After Effects
Design and manipulate graphics in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
Complete text animations following A Plus Creative brand guidelines
Take briefs from storyboarding to completion and take responsibility for flawless design output
Complete image and footage sourcing and drive delivery of work within tight deadlines and ensure highest standard of quality
Collaborate with motion design team to create compelling motion graphics and videos

Requirements and Skills:

5+ years of motion design experience, ideally working within an agency/studio environment
Extensive experience with After Effects and Adobe Suite
Demonstrated experience of creating content for crossplatform social channels (Instagram/YouTube/TikTok) particularly safe zones and specs for each platform
Knowledge of animation / video creation process, from storyboards to rendering
Wellversed in working in an agency context and have relevant experience covering brand, direct, and above the line creative work
3D experience is considered an asset but is not a requirement
Diploma or Graduate education in motion design from an accredited institution is considered an asset but not a requirement
Detailoriented and organized team player
Clear communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales
Positive attitude with desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring, and teamoriented environment
Intermediate knowledge of Mac OSX environment, finder, images, folders
