Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responding to HR related inquiries or requests and aiding Director of HR.
• Maintaining records of personnelrelated data to ensure all employment requirements are met
• Assist in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating human resources and labor relations strategies including policies, programs and procedures to address our organization's human resource requirements
• Interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs and collective agreements
• Onboarding new hires
• Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, salary scales and competency appraisal measures and systems
• Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7+ years' experience in HR
• Bilingual, fluent in both French & English (preferred)
• Understanding various provincial legislation is an asset
• Post
• Secondary Education in HR
• Experience with an HRIS and ATS.
• Excellent time management and organization
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Occasional travel to the U.S. is required.
