    Description

    Our client located in the heart of Westmount, is looking to add a hands-on and strategic Controller/Office Manager to their dynamic Industrial/Commercial real estate company.

    Responsibilities:


    • Assist Management in strategic decisionmaking and be part of the executive team.
    • Prepare financial reports for Management and Auditors
    • Day to day accounting duties (A/P, A/R, GST/PST, Chargebacks, bank reconciliation), as well as all aspects of Payroll (including Deductions at Source)
    • Be the contact person for banks and government
    • Implement internal controls
    • Prepare and coordinate the yearend process and yearend files for accountants
    • Manage staff of approx. 6 employees, ensure daily duties are being accomplished
    • Act as the "go to" person for any issues that arise
    • Prepare T4's, Relevé 1's and Relevé 31's
    • CAM Reconciliations
    • Prepare CNESST reports as required
    • Prepare charge backs to companies and tenants as required
    • Post new positions and interview potential candidates as required
    • Prepare 1096's and 1099's for our US companies as required

    Requirements:

    years of experience as a Controller in a Industrial/Commercial real estate company

    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), as well as Yardi accounting software and Quickbooks (manage any issues related to software)
