- Assist Management in strategic decisionmaking and be part of the executive team.
- Prepare financial reports for Management and Auditors
- Day to day accounting duties (A/P, A/R, GST/PST, Chargebacks, bank reconciliation), as well as all aspects of Payroll (including Deductions at Source)
- Be the contact person for banks and government
- Implement internal controls
- Prepare and coordinate the yearend process and yearend files for accountants
- Manage staff of approx. 6 employees, ensure daily duties are being accomplished
- Act as the "go to" person for any issues that arise
- Prepare T4's, Relevé 1's and Relevé 31's
- CAM Reconciliations
- Prepare CNESST reports as required
- Prepare charge backs to companies and tenants as required
- Post new positions and interview potential candidates as required
- Prepare 1096's and 1099's for our US companies as required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), as well as Yardi accounting software and Quickbooks (manage any issues related to software)
