QUALIFICATIONS:

Current or pending registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
Graduate of a recognized Cardiology Technology program.
Three years related clinical experience working as an ECG Technician in the past five years in a similar hospital environment.
Current CPR.
Demonstrated ability to perform electrocardiograms on patients of all ages (adult, paediatric and infant).
Demonstrated ability to perform cardiac stress tests and nuclear cardiology stress tests.

Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting professional practice standards as outlined by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist and related professional associations.

Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
Working knowledge of computers.
Consistent and regular attendance required. o Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
