- Develop a profound understanding of the subject matter and the challenges faced by our customers
- Advocate for the end user at all times, instigating design refinements for improved product interactions
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to actualize design concepts
- Work in conjunction with product managers to ensure seamless alignment of design with functionality, validating post-launch deliverables for an optimal user experience. Where necessary, engage in proactive iteration with the team.
- Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and contribute to shaping our product roadmap
- Iterate on design systems, style guides, and best practices to maintain consistency and familiarity across all iLobby products
- Lead the design efforts for our complex, cross-platform projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain user personas and storyboards
- Engage customers through interviews and usability testing
- Establish a systematic approach to UX research and user testing
- Communicate research findings and test outcomes to stakeholders
- Present and provide support for design deliverables to peers and stakeholders
- Embrace feedback and foster a collaborative environment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, encompassing web and mobile design projects
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rapidly growing SaaS organization
- Formal and current training in design methodologies
- Solid grasp of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
- Enjoy collaboration and exhibit enthusiasm for refining designs iteratively
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing your design accomplishments
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing requirements

About The Role:
We are in search of a driven and skillful Senior Product Designer to spearhead our design initiatives, focusing on delivering intuitive and engaging user experiences aligned with our product vision. Your proficiency in user research, interaction design, and visual design will play a pivotal role in developing solutions that address user needs effectively and drive user engagement. This entails the adept translation of complex customer challenges into user-centric and intuitive design solutions.
This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, requiring presence at our North York, Toronto office twice a week.
