This is a rotational position in Northern Saskatchewan, 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out.

The Construction Manager is responsible for:

  • Primary responsibility and accountability to ensure that all individuals on the construction site are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of field work ensuring it is completed efficiently and effectively while meeting all contractual requirements.
  • Monitor the schedule and productivity of work and work constructively with contractors and internal teams to drive improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with the contractors and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers.
  • Work collaboratively with the contractor on all aspects of planning to enable efficient work to progress in the field.
  • Coordinate field activities between contractors and the Cameco operations team as required.

Salary:
Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a construction manager.
  • First Aid
  • Previous experience in a brownfield construction environment
  • Previous experience at a nuclear facility preferred
  • Supervisor training and certification
  • Proficient computer skills
