Job description

We are currently looking to add a highly motivated IT Co-op/Intern to our growing organization. This is a full time, four- or eight-Month role. The student will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and ensuring the availability of the systems and network as well as assisting in improving security and its efficiency and addressing security concerns. Essential Functions

Installing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting software.

Helping set up computers/laptops.

Providing day to day support by responding to user problem and requests.

Participating in the planning, evaluation, and testing of new technologies and applications.

Ensuring network security and compliance requirements are met.

Maintaining inventory and software databases.

Software patching and networking activities as required.

Other Duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be enrolled in an IT, Computer Science, or related field program at a university.

Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.

Advance excel skills and Microsoft Office skills.

Basic experience in IT administration, desktop support, or help desk.

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
