Responsibilities:

Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming.
Maintain plant health through pruning, weeding, and fertilizing.
Complete seasonal cleanups and landscape enhancements.
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous landscape maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of horticulture practices and plant identification.
Proficiency in operating landscape maintenance equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical stamina for manual labor in various weather conditions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Job Requirements

Current and valid BC Class 5 Driver's license
Drivers Abstract
1 year Job experience in related field preferred
Steel toed boots
Appropriate attire for all weather conditions

Expectations

Between 3545 hours per week from March-November
Between 1530 hours per week from December-February
Competence in operating ALL Maintenance equipment, powered and nonpowered.
Competence in completing hedging/pruning, mowing/trimming, weeding and general cleanup
Competence in assisting with jobs including but not limited to simple irrigation repair, aeration/top dress and garden mulching
Plant Identification skills and general care knowledge preferred
Time management and problemsolving skills
Ability to learn and understand new tasks including new technologies
Reliability and timeliness
