Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial cleaning duties in various facilities, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Conduct custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Maintain and replenish supplies in restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces as needed
- Perform light maintenance tasks to keep facilities in good condition
- Communicate with supervisors to coordinate work schedules and address any issues or concerns
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients
- Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
$21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 6 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sechelt, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (required)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
