We have exciting opportunities for experienced mechanical pipe fitter with minimum 5 years of local experience in installing water and wastewater pipes (watermains, sanitary forcemains, wastewater piping, process piping), pumping systems, valves and other related municipal infrastructure within a municipal right of way in Ontario.


In these positions, you'll be constructing water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery of local government projects across the Greater Toronto Area, as well as working closely with our internal teams on large commercial/residential subdivision projects.

You will have a key focus on successful project delivery and support the mentoring and coaching of junior staff in the team.


What will you bring?

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in installing water and wastewater pipes (watermains, sanitary forcemains, wastewater piping, process piping), pumping systems, valves and other related equipment and systems in public right of way in Ontario
  • Read and interpret drawings or blueprints to determine layout requirements.
  • Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors and ceilings using power tools.
  • Select the type and size of pipe needed and cut, bend or thread the pipe according to specifications.
  • Fabricate sections of piping systems by welding, brazing or soldering pieces together.
  • Test systems for leaks using specialized testing equipment.
  • Clean and maintain pipe systems by using flushing systems.
  • Remove and replace wornout pipes.
  • Experience in installation of pumping system, valves and controls
  • Ability to travel and work in our projects in the USA
  • Up to date on relevant health and safety training and certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
