At our
Cambridge Facility, we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies.

We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

Prepare steel components to meet quality standards in order to proceed to blast and paint. Assemble components after paint


Responsibilities:


  • Remove debris from steel components such as chips & cuttings to meet desired customer & quality standards
  • Vacuum coolant or use compressed air to prevent contamination of components from sand & grit particles
  • Prepare parts prior to blast and paint; plug holes that do not require paint & install covers to protect machined surfaces
  • Monitor plugs & maintain a constant awareness of inventory supply; inform Lead hand or Supervisor when more are needed so it may been replenished
  • Responsible to bevel various gauges of material as per the part specific blueprint, to deburr all metal parts produced from the burn tables, to move parts within the work area, and to perform cleaning and Leak Testing of assemblies as per customer specifications. Work must be carried out safely, in a timely manner, using appropriate tools, meeting production standards and required Quality Assurance specifications.
  • After blast, prepare parts for painting
  • After paint, assemble parts as required and prepare for shipping
  • Meet daily production demands
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times, including paint kitchen, spray booth
  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Rules and Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures.

Your Skills Set

  • Grade twelve education or equivalent, with basic reading, writing, and some advanced mathematic skills.
  • 1 year previous experience with industrial painting
  • Strong attention to detail in order to meet quality standards
  • Strong time management skills in order to perform successfully within tight production schedule

AFTERNOON SHIFT PREMIUM OF $1 PER HOUR
