Job Summary:


The main responsibility of the Wholistic Dispensary Consultant is to provide excellent customer service using their product knowledge, expertise in their field of study, engaged customer interaction and positive attitude.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide a prompt, pleasant and educated customer service experience.
  • Maintains uptodate and clear communication and professional relationships with other staff as well as the Wellness Managers and Supervisors via all modes of communication (e.g. verbally, staff log, etc.)
  • Process point of sales transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock products and perform other required duties in times of low customer traffic
  • Follow department cleanliness requirements.
  • All other duties as required by the Wellness Manager and Supervisors.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • Knowledge of supplements a requirement (e.g. general uses, relation to health conditions, brands)
  • Certification or diploma in Nutrition / Wholistic Health (e.g. ND, Homeopathy, Herbalist, TCM etc.) required.
  • Naturopathic students in Year 2 or above also qualify.
  • Previous experience working as a natural health care consultant or clinical practitioner is an asset
  • Training, knowledge and/or awareness of Canadian Organic Standards, genetically engineered organisms, and food security is an asset.
  • Customer service oriented attitude, leads by example.
  • Organized, consistently follows through on commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands.
  • Flexibility of schedule (weekends and evening)
