The dietary aide is a team member who is passionate about serving nutritious meals to our patients and making a difference at PRHC.
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, plating, and serving of meals to our patients, as well as collecting trays post-meal.
You will also be responsible for completing ware washing and cleaning of equipment and following established policies, procedures and standards.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), GED, or equivalent required
Successful completion of a Food Service Worker Certificate Program or currently completing the certificate program and commitment to successfully complete within 12 months of date of hire
Food Handlers Training and Certification Course (1 day provided by County Health Unit) required
Previous experience in the Food Service industry required
Culinary management diploma would be an asset
Excellent knowledge of safe food handling techniques required
