About the position:


Reporting to the Senior Account Executive, the Account Manager is responsible for selling Univar Solutions' portfolio of products across multiple industries throughout the lower mainland of BC.

Where you'll work:

Based out of our Richmond, BC office (3-4 months) and then will work out of our Pitt Meadows, BC office.

2 days per week are

expected in the office and the remaining days in the field.


What you'll do:


  • Build profitable sales in an assigned territory.
  • Primary focus of assigned accounts will be coatings customers but will also include various industrial customers
  • Employ a consultative sales approach that focuses on building long term, valuebased relationships with accounts.
  • Prospect for new business; conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of the assigned territory in accordance with the company's targets.
  • Liaise with internal teams including customer service, purchasing and operations to ensure proper inventory levels and overall customer satisfaction.
  • 23 time per year overnight travel may be required for out of town sales meetings or conferences.

What you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Science or Business) and/or specialized training in CASE
  • 2 or more years of experience in a sales role preferred.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License & clean driver's abstract required.
