We are currently looking for a
Marketing and Operations Administrator to join our growing team based in our downtown Edmonton office.

This is a hybrid position allowing for flexibility to work from home, and in the office as required.

Some things you will be responsible for:
To be a great Marketing and Operations Administrator at Carson Integrated, you will have experience with most of these areas and are eager to learn and develop the ones you are missing:

  • Experience filming and editing audio/videos
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Conceptualization, creation, and ensuring copyright compliance
  • Prior experience with social media marketing and its associated metrics is an asset (Hootsuite, Meta Business Manager, YouTube Studio, etc.)
  • Marketing material management
  • Ensuring images, videos, content files, etc. are well organized, tagged, and easily locatable
  • Assisting with logístical and administrative tasks including hotel reservations, fuel system management, asset assignment and tracking, problem solving, etc.
  • Researching new potential suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships
  • Assisting with event planning including training week, student recruitment events, social events, etc.
  • Assisting with the development and continual improvement of internal management systems
  • Tracking financial, quality, safety, and human resources management metrics
  • Conducting data entry, analysis, and visualization.
  • Understanding datarelated processes such as data cleaning is an asset
  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (including VBA and Macros) is an asset.
  • Experience with Smartsheet is an asset.
  • Experience with Python and JavaScript for data analysis and visualization is
an asset.

  • Confidently using your knowledgebase to speak with prospective customers and identifying how our services can meet their needs.
  • Being innovative identifying opportunities for product or service improvements/new features and determining a process for implementing them.

Experience and skill set to thrive as a Marketing and Operations Administrator:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing and/or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of Alberta's oil & gas and/or forestry industry is an asset.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Extremely well organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to engage customers.
  • Ability to respond to customers with a high degree of professionalism, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
  • E.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign, etc.
  • Experience with WordPress or Squarespace is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an asset.
