What you'll do:

Ensure purchase orders are received accurately and sorted for Put Away within 1 business day of receiving the shipment on the dock.
Work with the Buyers and Receiving Specialist to research all reported damages, shorts and /or over shipments and substandard pallets from vendors.
Work with the Receiving Supervisor to continually look for more efficient ways to receive inbound product and ensure there is enough locations and space for all product before it arrives.
Complete receiving discrepancy forms accurately and in a timely basis and submit with the packing list to the Receiving Specialist.
Maintain accurate records, control paperwork flow and ensure it is properly filed.
Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforced.
Keep current with product knowledge.
Other duties as assigned.
Do you fit the _

At least 1 year of warehouse receiving experience.
Order picker and /or reach truck license preferred.
Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stack, pull and carry heavy items.
Good math skills and attention to details.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to be organized, multitask and solve problems.
