    About the Program

    Aga Khan Park organizes three one-hour tours each week. Comprehensive training and a script will be provided to all team members.

    About the Role

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Study and research plants and their life processes
  • Conduct field research to study plants and their habitats
  • Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, and other significant findings
  • Prepare reports and present findings to colleagues and the public
  • Maintain records and databases of research
  • Participate in the evaluation of potential conservation areas
  • Provide advice to decision-makers on plant ecology and conservation issues
  • Develop environmental education materials for the public
  • Collaborate with other professionals to analyze and interpret data
  • Manage workshops.
  • About You

    Skills and Competencies:
  • Volunteers must have expertise and a background in botany, plant science, horticulture, agronomy, agriculture and/or gardening
  • The ideal candidate has professional expertise with botanical concepts, principals, laws, and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors
  • Knowledge and adherence of safety protocols
