Description
We are an accounting firm specializing in farm businesses. We are seeking anAdministrative Assistant for our London office.
The first 2 weeks will be full time in office, and after that, minimum 2 days in office per week required.
Job is hybrid remote.Initials duties will include (although not limited to) are:
- Processing work received from all staff in all departments. The type of work will vary from time to time.
- Use Microsoft Office to prepare templates, spreadsheets, reports, memos, letters, presentations, and other documents.
- Cover reception during vacation or sick periods, and on assigned days.
- Answer telephones, schedule meetings, manage calendars and handle administrative details.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Contact clients to follow up on outstanding forms (T183s, approval of statements).
- Provide training to coworkers and/or new staff from time to time.
- Format, proofread, and finalize general correspondence and reports.
- Process client T4 and T5 slips and summaries.
- Process Underutilized Housing Tax Returns.
- Assist in personal tax return processing, which may include assembly.
- Scanning and properly saving documentation as requested by staff or clients.
- Maintaing various tracking lists.
- Ensure electronic document system is maintained according to our standards.
- Prepare electronic binders in advance of accountant visits (file prep).
- Provide backup and support to the admin team when needed.
- Provide backup to the executive assistant when needed.
- Assist with various projects as they arise.
Familiarity with Taxprep programs, Caseware software and Docit (document management software) preferred, but not a requirement.
Salary:
$35,000.00-$39,000.00 per year
