We have an immediate need for a full-time Human Resources professional to join our team at our head office in Kitchener.


Reporting to the Human Resources and Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible to provide onsite HR support for approximately 200 employees with an emphasis on Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Investigations, WSIB and Disability Claims Management, Attendance Management and Recruitment.


Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or related discipline is required.
years' experience in a HR generalist role within a manufacturing environment as well as previous H&S experience.

  • JHSC Certification is a definite asset and would be required.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset.
  • Proven track record in Employee Relations, Health & Safety, Investigations, WSIB & Disability Claims Management, Attendance Management as well as Recruitment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed to meet the requirements of a 2 shift plant.
  • Full time onsite attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational capabilities are required.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, high interpersonal and facilitation skills with all levels.
  • Flexibility and ability to effectively prioritize based on changing needs.
  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
