Position Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate industrial operations, including maintenance, repair, and production activities.
  • Oversee a team of industrial technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies at all times.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and costeffectiveness.
  • Schedule and prioritize work assignments, considering operational requirements, available resources, and project deadlines.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and recommend preventive and corrective maintenance measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, operational expenses, and production output.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of required materials and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into operational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Industrial Superintendent or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, repair, and production processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities in highpressure situations.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial operations.
  • DZ license is an asset.
  • Experience with vac truck operations is an asset.
  • Proficiency in highpressure water blasting techniques is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
