POSITION OVERVIEW
This person is accountable for retrieving raw material from home locations and delivering it to assembly lines/presses in order to meet production as well as delivering finished goods to the warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts all responsibilities in a safe manner, adhering to Dortec safety standards/rules at all times
- Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment
- Store materials in appropriate areas
- Manage and catalogue inventory with consistently updated records
- Operate Industrial Sit-Down and Reach type forklift and ensure it is in good working order
- Track inventory levels and make recommendations for purchases when supply is low
- Organizes line changeovers in advance and returns all parts and or containers, which are not used, back to the warehouse home locations.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, with repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Back up the Shipper/Receiver
- Assists with other areas and performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- No educational requirement
- Less than 1 year of workrelated experience
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) equivalency preferred
- Familiar with keyboard and computers
- Previous Forklift and Crane Operator experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year manufacturing experience preferred

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
