Description

The POS System Administrator is responsible for managing, implementing and training of point-of-sale systems for West Edmonton Mall.

Primary Responsibilities:

Configuring POS products in various POS Systems as required.
Testing and implementing new requests for ticket products in all systems.
Reviewing software upgrade release notes and notifying end users of any changes.
Testing and implementing software updates and upgrades.
Creating, changing and deleting user accounts per manager requests in all systems.
Maintaining operation, configuration and any other procedures.
Supporting all end users with initial training, problems that arise and system changes.
Ensuring compliance to internal control policy and procedures at all times.
Create and maintain documentation in change management
Other responsibilities and tasks as required.

Desired Qualifications:

Previous working experience with POS systems such as; Micros, Galaxy, Vector, Qubica, Apex Timing, SQL, Sharepoint and/or MRI.
Experience/familiarity with local and network Printers, bar code scanners configurations, Windows 10/11 Operating System environment. Peripheral device connections.
Completion of a postsecondary Bachelor's degree in a related field.
A professional attitude and demeanor complimented by excellent interpersonal skills to develop positive, effective relationships with other departments, coworkers and business partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to complete tasks with mínimal supervision.
Able to multitask with accuracy and efficiency while being deadline oriented.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
