Where You Come In
We are looking for a Manager, Digital Solutions to join our team at Make-A-Wish Canada.
Reporting to the VP of Digital, IT & Data Management, the Manager, Digital Solutions will be responsible for managing Make-A-Wish Canada's portfolio of digital solutions and guiding their selection, implementation, training, and adoption.
This role is based out of
Toronto, ON and is a
full-time, permanent, hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote per week) position.
What You Will Do
- Manage and deliver solutions for digital workplace, digital fundraising, and process automation.
- Lead the identification, selection, and implementation of new digital solutions in collaboration with the business units.
- Manage the portfolio of Digital Solutions to identify solution enhancement, replacement or decommission.
- Deliver training and promote adoption of digital solutions to all staff.
- Develop the knowledge repository, FAQs, user manuals, and training videos.
- Support staff with daytoday inquiries, questions and clarifications regarding digital solutions usage and issues.
- Lead requirements definition, procurement, and negotiation with vendors for Digital Solutions.
- Support the VP Digital, IT and Data Management in the development and execution of the Digital Strategy and Roadmap.
- Manage relationships and invoices with vendors and consultants for Digital Solutions.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in the market and evaluate for potential value at MAWC.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- A degree in information systems or IT, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in managing digital solutions.
- Solid understanding of digital technologies and the applicability of these technologies.
- Experience in the notforprofit industry considered an asset.
- Strong experience with MS Teams and SharePoint setup and administration.
- Strong experience with workplace digital solutions such as MS Forms, Power Automate, and eSignature tools.
- Experience with vendor management and solution procurement.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary group and create and maintain a positive team working environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation skills, appropriate to various audiences.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex business requirements and solutions in appropriate terms for various audiences.
- A clear Criminal Background Check is required.
Your Work Environment
- Hybrid work environment with occasional requirements to work outside of regular office hours.
- Occasional day/overnight travel.
Physical/Mental Effort:
- Work under pressure of tight deadlines, with high volume workload, & with multiple demands & changing priorities.
