Delivery Driver Class 1 in Comox

Here's what you'll do:


  • Pre and post trip inspections on a variety of equipment.
  • Maintaining an accurate logbook.
  • Reporting vehicle issues.
-
Delivering products to our Sysco customers on a preassigned route and schedule.
-
Unloading product with hand cart and bringing safely into the customers designated delivery area all year round, according to all food safety regulations.

  • Generating invoices for customers and obtaining signatures on all orders.
  • A strong working knowledge of all health and safety procedures to keep you and others safe at work
  • Keeping your truck clean and, when needed assisting with yard maintenance.
  • Attending meetings
  • All other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll need:


  • Class 1 drivers License and clean driver's abstract.
  • Great communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to set goals, meet deadline and work in various conditions and a fastpaced environment.

$31.36-$37.10 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Comox, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Airbrakes Certification (required)
