Geneva Centre for Autism (GCA) is currently seeking a Respite Coordination Administrator who will be responsible for the management and reconciliation of flex funding on behalf of the Toronto Respite Network.

The role also involves the tracking, analyzing and reporting on gaps and trends to the TRN membership.

In addition, the Respite Coordination Administrator will support the Respite Coordination team as needed with day-to-day support including tasks such as intake, delivering workshops, and administrative duties as required.


Core Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Service to the respite coordination team (to include but not limited to):

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the team by providing support in the areas of intake, answering family questions, supporting staff in workshops/presentations, other work as directed by the Program Supervisor
Service to the Toronto Respite Network (TRN) (to include but not limited to):

  • Manage the annual Flex Funding program and approve, track, and distribute funds by:
  • Participating in planning for service budget and funding distribution
  • Analyzing service data and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
  • Representing service at all required local, regional and provincial community partner meetings as may be required
  • Participate in Network meetings and represent the Network in all funding discussions as may be required
  • Acting as the key point of contact for all Flex Funding related matters.
  • College diploma in an area of relevance from an accredited college
  • 2 years' work experience in the social services sector
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and MS Outlook)
  • Experience with Salesforce an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to balance demands/priorities of workload, manage time effectively and operate within the framework of stated expectations
  • Selfmotivation, initiative and maturity
  • Knowledge of Autism, PDD and other developmental disorders an asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a solid track record of speaking in public forums
  • Problem solving skills that can be applied in multiple situations
  • Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID19

Working Conditions:

  • Seated for long periods of time

Salary:
$49,449-$56,157
