Ceva is seeking a General Labourer to clean our poultry barn and areas of vaccine production for 6 month contract position

About the Job
You will be responsible for the bird room cleaning and cleaning in other areas of our vaccine production.

In this role you will be responsible for and ensuring that all aspects of production are in compliance with approved Outlines of Production (O.P.), Special Outlines (S.O) and Standard Operating Procedures.

(S.O.P.)

Duties Include:

General preparation of equipment, supplies and rooms

Weekly inventory check of supplies
Clean and sanitize production and animal facilities
Maintenance and Care of bird rooms

Vaccine production in the laboratory

Assist with general cleaning duties associated with the daily operations.

General documentation

Detailed, accurate, concurrent, complete record keeping

General miscellaneous

Follows all safety procedures
Follows standard operation procedures and company policies

Maintenance and Care of birds and bird rooms

Feed and water all birds and record observations as set out
Control room temperature and humidity
Replace or clean vent filters
Clean and disinfect empty bird rooms
Record in Log book when rooms cleaned and disinfected
Record daily temperature of all refrigerated units; report problems

About You

You are physically fit to work on your feet all day, can clean in awkward positions and can lift up to 50 lbs.
