The Refrigeration Mechanic is responsible for providing installation, preventive maintenance, service, and repair on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in a commercial and industrial setting while show casing exceptional customer service skills.

Servicing new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems
Troubleshooting issues with all commercial and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment
Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes
Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
Documenting service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records
Knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration
Available for rotating on call shifts
Experience in supermarket installation and service an asset
HVAC experience in a commercial or industrial setting
Gas A is an asset (extra pay included for this ticket)
Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable 5 year driver's abstract
Gas or broiler experience is an asset
Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, Elevated Work Platform, Energy Safety Canada are considered an asset
BMS or Controls experience is an asset
